THE FIRST MICKEY MOUSE DOLL - The first Mickey Mouse Doll, released in March of 1929, to accompany 'The Opry House' and the impending foundation of the first 'Mickey Mouse Club'. This was his first appearance in gloves. The pose able doll is of plush velvet with a wire armature and kapok stuffing, with mother of pearl buttons on shorts, felt ears and black button eyes (missing). 6 1/2" tall x 4" from tips of gloves. He is soiled, and the wire is protruding from one foot, but he is a rare survivor of a very limited run, Found in the 19th c. wallpaper covered box that houses him still, 4 1/2" high x 8 1/2" wide x 5" deep.

Purchases will be available for shipment upon receipt of payment. Shipping will normally occur within 10 days of payment. Our preferred shipping is via USPS Registered First Class Mail International, although be aware that this method does not offer insurance coverage.
