Wool in linen, the first depicting a pink Georgian manor house with with flowering trees, deer and dog the second, same size, inscribed "Jane Leith, May 1824, New Bigging", depicts an American salt box house with pines, crowned pairs of initials representing ancestors. In matching replica dark cove frames, under UV glass.

New bigging is derived from Old English meaning "new building" or "new settlement" most common in Scotland.
